This section is specifically for Independent Gas Transporters (iGTs) and Utility Infrastructure Providers (UIPs).

If you are neither an iGT nor UIP and are looking for information on a gas connection, please either start here for SGN Connections or see this list of alternative registered UIPs on the Lloyds Registry website under the Gas Industry Registration Scheme (GIRS).

Our team manages the activities of all iGTs and UIPs making connections to our networks, supplying advice and guidance to ensure compliance with network policy and procedures.

Any suitably qualified iGT or UIP wishing to carry out work on our networks is entitled to do so subject to signing our final connections agreement (details on request from leigh.keegan@sgn.co.uk) and a valid registration under the Lloyds Register Gas Industry Registration Scheme (GIRS).

You can email the team at soe_gtuip_sgn@sgn.co.uk.

Our postal address is: 3rd Party Connections Team, St. Lawrence House, Station Approach, Horley, SURREY RH6 9HJ.

The property is outside of SGN's operating regions but energynetworks.org may help you identify the right contact.

Please note that this check only informs you if SGN covers your postcode area, it does not inform you if there are gas assets at your location, in particular if you are on or near the boundary. Before starting any work please contact the SGN plant protection team on 0800 912 1722 or email plantlocation@sgn.co.uk.
