    Milltimber area

    Start date: 5 November 2018
    Approximate duration: 11 weeks

Following the completion of our first phase of work to upgrade the local gas network as part of a £418,000 project, we’ll shortly begin phase two in Binghill Park, Braehead Terrace, Contlaw Brae and Contlaw Place.

This essential work involves the replacement of old metal gas mains with new plastic pipe to ensure a continued safe and reliable gas supply to the area.

In consultation with Aberdeen City Council, phase two of our work will begin on Monday 5 November and last approximately 11 weeks.

You’ll find further details, such as exactly where we’ll be working, in our customer leaflet.

We understand that people can get frustrated by roadworks. However, the new plastic pipe has a minimum lifespan of 80 years. This means that when the work is complete, Aberdeen residents will continue to enjoy the benefits of a safe and reliable gas supply for years to come.
