    Farleigh Road

    Start date: 12 February 2018
    Approximate duration: 14 weeks

We are working to upgrade the gas network in Farleigh Road, Warlingham.

We are replacing our old gas mains and services with new plastic pipe to ensure a continued safe and reliable gas supply to the local area.

In consultation with Surrey County Council, we started work on Monday 12 February.

We will be working in Farleigh Road progressing southwards in phases from its junction with Sunny Bank to Mint Walk. To ensure everyone’s safety and maintain traffic flow, we will install temporary two-way traffic lights around our works. We will also need to implement some parking restrictions around our work area.

We understand that people can get frustrated by roadworks. However, the new plastic pipe has a minimum lifespan of 80 years. This means that when the work is complete, people will continue to enjoy the benefits of a safe and reliable gas supply for years to come.
