Four-way temporary traffic lights will be in place in Dumbarton at the junction where Glasgow Road, Greenhead Road and Castlegreen Street meet over this weekend.
We’re working to remove manhole covers which have been creating significant disturbance for local residents due the noise from passing traffic. This work has been planned in consultation with West Dunbartonshire Council.
The temporary traffic lights, and associated pedestrian crossings, will be operational from 8am on Saturday 30 September. All going well, we’ll remove the lights before the morning rush on Monday 2 October, returning the road back to normal.
