Glasgow, Carntyne

We're investing approximately £3 million to upgrade the gas network in the Carntyne area of Glasgow.

This essential work needs to go ahead now to ensure the local community continues to receive a safe and reliable gas supply for many years to come.

In agreement with Glasgow City Council, our project started in April 2023 and will last approximately 12 months. We'll be working in the following streets during our project.

UPDATE 9 MAY

  • Temporary three-way traffic lights are currently in place at the junction of Rigby Street and Myreside Street for around two weeks.
  • Temporary three-way traffic lights are currently in place at the junction of Inveresk Street and Duror Street for around five weeks.
