Send us a video

An easier way to report something to us

We use Video Your Notes (Vyn) to capture your video report or enquiry.

You'll need a mobile phone with a camera, microphone and a good internet connection.

Why use video?

Sometimes it's easier for us to understand the issue when we can see it. Video can help us to deal with your query more quickly.

In some cases, it means we don't need to send someone out to check the site or do a survey.

What can I report with a video?

Please don't use video to report a gas emergency. If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide or have hit one of our gas pipes, please call the National Gas Emergency Service 24 hours a day on 0800 111 999

You can use video to:

  • Show us something you need our help with after we've left your property or street
  • Share anything on your property or street that you think we should see
  • Let us know if there's anything outstanding that we need to complete
  • Follow-up after we've finished working

Remember, it can take up to 5 working days to finish tidying up your property or street after we've completed our work.

When we are carrying out large projects, you might see us move along or across the road as we move on to the next stage of our work.

Don't use video if:

  • You want to ask us a question
  • You want to tell us about something that has happened
  • You don’t have anything physical to show us

In some cases, it's better to contact us by Live Chat, Email, WhatsApp or phone.

How does it work?
