SGN has appointed Vicky Higgin as its Chief Information Officer.
Vicky brings nearly 30 years of experience leading technology-driven transformation across large, complex engineering and infrastructure organisations.
Her career has spanned energy, utilities, critical national infrastructure and telecommunications, having held senior leadership roles at Transco, National Grid, National Highways and CityFibre.
Vicky has led major programmes covering cloud transformation, cyber security, data and digital innovation, and enterprise modernisation.
Commenting on Vicky’s appointment, SGN’s CEO Simon Kilonback said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Vicky to SGN as our new Chief Information Officer. She is known for her ability to turn complex technical challenges into clear, practical business outcomes – a capability that will be key as we continue to deliver for our six million customers and provide critical resilience to the wider energy system.”
Vicky will take up her role in May.
