From Wednesday 22 July, our contractors I&G will be upgrading our gas network in Fairmile Lane in Cobham for approximately six weeks.
These essential works will involve replacing an old, metal pipe with a new longer longer-lasting plastic one so that we can continue to provide businesses and the wider community with a safe and efficient gas supply.
For everyone's safety around our work area, we'll need to temporarily close Fairmile Lane in sections between the junctions with Fairacres and Green Lane as we progress along the road.
Access will be maintained for all residents and businesses, and a signed diversion route will be in place via Portsmouth Road, Between Streets, High Street, Mill Road, Stoke Road, Leigh Hill Road and Fairmile Lane.
