From Monday 20 July for approximately six weeks, we're upgrading our gas network in Denchworth Road, Wantage.
These works are part of the mandatory HSE-driven programme of work to ensure we can continue to provide residents with a safe and efficient gas supply and avoid gas leaks in the future.
Due to the location of the gas pipes in the road, for everyone’s safety, we need to temporarily close Denchworth Road from outside Fitzwaryn School to the junction of St Mary's Way while we complete our work.
A signed diversion route will be in place via:

- A420
- Standford Road
- Faringdon Road
- Main Street
- Challow Road
- Denchworth Road
