What we're doing
We're connecting recently replaced pipes to our network along Woodcote Grove Road. The new pipes were part of our 30-year programme of work to replace our old mains, reaching the end of their useful lives.
When we're working
Our work will start on Tuesday 21 July and this project is expected last six weeks.
Where we'll be working
Starting at its junction with Meadow Rise, our engineers will be connecting the recently installed pipes to our network in 300m-long sections along Woodcote Grove Road.
To ensure everyone's safety, Woodcote Grove Road will be closed to motorists around our site as we progress. All sides roads will be shut too when we reach these junctions, with the exception of the following dead-end roads where access will be maintained: Grove Wood Hill, The Chase, Warwick Road and Howard Road.
Bus services along Woodcote Grove Road will be suspended between Mon 17 and Mon 24 Aug. Please check with your bus service provider or TfL for updates to stops, routes and timetables during this suspension so we can safely complete our work.
We understand roadworks can be frustrating. However, this work is essential to ensuring nearby properties continue to receive a safe and reliable supply of gas.
