We need to complete urgent repairs on a gas pipe on the A34 near Oxford. We have discovered a leak in a section of the gas pipe past the recently replaced section of pipe.
Our work site will be set up on Monday 29 April for four days.
To safely repair this gas pipe, we will need to close the kerbside lane heading south on the A34 Southern By-Pass Road from approximately 100 metres north of the Botley Interchange to just past Stanley Close. A 40mph speed restriction will be in place past our work site.
Full access to Stanley Close will be maintained from the A34 Southern By-Pass Road. The bus stop near Stanley Close will be suspended for the duration of our work.
Our work should not affect the gas supply of local residents.
