We're carrying out essential gas network upgrades in the Knockholt Road area. This work will ensure a continued safe and reliable supply of gas is delivered to Sevenoaks homes and businesses.

What we're doing
We'll be replacing our old metal pipes in the area. This is part of our 30-year programme of work to replace our old mains, reaching the end of their useful lives, with new, reliable plastic pipe.
When we're working
Our work will start on Monday 20 July and the project is expected to last approximately six weeks.
Where we'll be working
Our engineers will be upgrading our network along Knockholt Road and Halstead Lane.
To safely carry out this work, the roads will be closed around our site as we progress from Applegarth on Knockholt Road towards the junction of Halstead Lane and Rushmore Hill.
A signed diversion route will be in place for affected road users. Motorists will need to follow the diversion route via Main Road, Old London Road, Star Hill Road, A224 Polhill, A224 London Road, Shoreham Lane and Knockholt Road.
Buses will be diverted around our closure too. Please check with your service provider for any updates to stops or timetables.
Access will be maintained for residents and business located within our closure area.
We understand roadworks can be frustrating. However, this work is essential to ensuring nearby properties continue to receive a safe and reliable supply of gas.
