We're carrying out essential upgrades to our gas network in Jacklyns Lane, Alresford. This work has been planned in close consultation with the local authority and will ensure a continued safe and reliable gas supply to nearby homes and businesses.
From Monday 2 February until the end of March 2026, our contractors I&G will be working using temporary traffic lights with phased junction closures as we work past Robertson Road, Roseberry Road, Salisbury Road and Elm Road.
We will then temporarily close Jacklyns Lane in sections until mid-May while we work up to the junction of Pound Hill/West Street.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, and a signed diversion will be in place via The Avenue > Winchester Road > Alresford Road > Petersfield Road > A272 > B3046 > Jacklyns Lane.
