If you’re planning highway, bridge or other development works that might affect our gas network infrastructure, you’ll need to enquire about a gas mains diversion.
It’s easy to request an estimate for these works. To get started, download an application form below.
The form will ask you for the basic information we need to process your enquiry. Once we’ve received your enquiry, we’ll check the detail provided to ensure we have all the information necessary to determine if our gas network is affected by your proposals.
We’ve dedicated teams dealing with diversion enquires, and once we have all the information we need we’ll aim to respond within 21 days. Sometimes, proposals or the nature of the network affected can be complex: these estimates might take longer to produce and we’ll keep you updated if this is the case.
If a diversion is necessary, we’ll provide a budget (C3) estimate or a detailed (C4) estimate – just let us know on the application form what you’d prefer.
If there’s no diversion necessary, we’ll let you know.
